Even though it was a long travel day from Ohio (via Colorado...) I was super excited to be back at UT! Austin is such a cool city and Omega is great! I tried breakfast tacos when I visited last year but this time I actually got to go to the famous Taco Deli. It was super busy because everyone in Austin is obsessed but I don't blame them because they're great. I also went to this funky ice cream place with the president, Rebecca, where they had some interesting flavor choices. The goat cheese, thyme & honey and roasted beet & fresh mint were probably the weirdest sounding, but I loved the flavors I actually got.
On Friday night Grant from AEPi came into town so we had dinner at a cool Tex Mex place and had fun exploring west 6th street. It was so nice to see him and do something different!
On my last day at UT I attended the first recruitment practice for the 2014 fall new member class. It got me excited for recruitment season again and it was so great seeing their wide eyes when they heard the details of what goes on behind the scenes. Omega always puts on a great recruitment so I had a lot of fun watching them practice!
